A couple of years ago I told that, for me, Wayne Rooney is the perfect partner in attack, because he never plays only for himself, but for the whole team and I am very happy that I can play with him,” Zlatan Ibrahimovic said in an interview.
“I admire what makes Rooney at United. He’s been in a top club for 12 years now and continues to play permanently at the highest level. Most of the players come and go from these teams, but he is still here! Wayne Rooney’s career is fantastic. He is one of the best forwards in football,” Zlatan added. “Not every player can achieve great success, but he was one of those who have done it. I hope I can help him win even more trophies.
