Frequently asked
Where do the statistics on this site come from?
From the results themselves. 46,709 first-division matches across Bundesliga, Premier League, Ligue 1, Serie A, La Liga are held match by match, and every table, record and head-to-head is recalculated from them rather than copied from a published standing. That is why a figure here can differ by a place from a table that broke a tie on a different rule.
How current are the fixtures and scores?
The fixture strip and the live-score page are rebuilt from the feed each time the site is built, and both carry the timestamp of the build that produced them. They do not refresh while the page is open, so a match in progress shows the score as it stood when the page was generated, not the score right now.
What is shown on a day with no matches?
Something real or nothing at all. If no fixture is scheduled in any competition covered here — which is most of June and July — the strip falls back to matches played on the same calendar date in earlier years, drawn from 362 days of archive. If even that comes back empty, the strip is left off the page entirely; it is never shown empty or filled with placeholder rows.
Can any two clubs be compared?
Only two that have actually met. 2,758 club pairings have a head-to-head record here, out of the 219 clubs in the archive — far short of every possible combination, because clubs from different countries rarely meet in a league. The comparison page greys out the pairings it has no matches for rather than returning an empty result.
